Poplars - crane assisted

This climbing job was for a company called Ecos, great bunch of guys. Special thanks goes to climber Keith Berry, for patiently watching my back from the ground throughout the duration of the two days.

There were eight tree’s in total (poplars), although two were small enough to lift out whole.

From a climbing point of view, the work was relatively easy....although we had heavy rain throught the whole of day 1 which ruined much of the photo’s and video.

Almost 50 photo’s in total so it might take be while to upload them all. Thanks

Awesome Reg, and Rupe's just answered my question about the bag.

The pop job I refused to sub for without a crane took 2 weeks instead of the 2 days I reckoned it would have taken with a 50 tonne crane.

How long do you reckon that little lot would have taken just climbing?

I did 15 in 15 days a couple of years ago. Got 600 each. Crane would have been nice, but nowhere to put it all, and I would have had to hire loads more kit to process the stuff quick enough so would have ended up with less dosh but in quicker time.

That rig is awsome Reg. Its got me thinking!!!!
