Husqvarna 40

England here.

i have a Husqvarna 40 and I have managed to get the parts, 
 I Need advice on when I apply the chain break it cuts out, is there a reason for this to happen  ?
I put a new sprocket, I  took clutch off to swap sprocket and clutch seemed ok,

It won’t let me upload photos grrrr

Yes I would start with clutch springs, with the clutch off, if you open the shoes with your hands the springs are shot, other than that if the drum bearing is badly worn the brake band will pull the drum to one side allowing it to rub on the clutch causing it to stop.
