So how are you editing the footage? Did you say you convert to mp4 first and then edit it?

I've have been editing as it is and then I have to publish in one format then re publish it in mp4. Otherwise I get a green band accross the screen.

I think your footage is clearer than mine, so maybe your way is best. What the secret??

I used this program Convert AVI to MP4, One Free Video Converting Software , just save as you normally would then browse with this program to convert.

Oh, I thought so. I might try that!

I find movie maker will take it unconverted and the editing works just fine. But when its published it comes out with half the screen green.

So I publish it as AVI. Then re load the published version and publish it again at full quality and the green line doesn't appear. I'm sure I'm losing something along the way!

I tried converting some video to mp4 then (thanks for the software link) but windows movie maker didn't like it in mp4 format? So I did it all as avi again, published as avi, then converted that to something better wmv. I think. I'll put the video up in my cosrsican pine thread later. I still think the quality is lacking, and your film here and steves one seem better quality?
