Husqvarna 45 oil tank vent

Thats great info thanks, I had checked all but the throw which I didn't know about.Do you agree that the oil should be pouring out the way I mentioned in my last post?When the pump is rebuilt should there be be grease packer in where the nylon gear is?

You should have oil coming , as the hole I so big there will be more than enough air getting in so forget about the breather, if you are using thick non fling oil it will not pour out that fast, but should come out.

Away from where the saw is  for couple of days so I can't try this.Watched some more stuff on youtube "The greasy shop rag" guy used super glue on rubber at a oil pipe vent, was wodnering if it was worth trying where the two rubber sealing/ transfer fittings encapsulate the oiler tube?Or would you recommend some other sealent?
