Amateur question about tipper purchase

Hello everyone, I am completely new to this field, in the midst of a career change. I am probably going to ask a basic question, but for those of you who use a tipper, what are the technical attributes or the benefits that you look for first before buying?

More info needed really. You can quickly fill a chip box on the back of a double cab 4x4, or you can put shedloads more in a box on a 3.5 ton tipper - that's not to say it would still be under 3.5 ton once loaded. WHat sort of work will you be doing, what sort of site access, carrying people and lots of tools etc?

Mostly pruning for local facilities

That’s a tough one then.

You don’t need a 4WD diff or the capacity of a 3.5t tipper then!

 

I’d go 3.5t tipper (Transit etc.) and tip off as and when.

Get tool lockers/DC for kit storage as a must.

 

If you need 4x4 super/king cab will tick the boxes.

I see everyone praising the merits of the Hilux and the Dmax. Is it too much for a first experience?. Yeah I had the intent to have toolbox
