Great ,great Pictures....please explain how one uses the VTA Stencil. the red insect is fabulous and the picture of (i presume is your family) amongst the stand of trees is excellent....

I believe Matthecks pebble tool is to aid assessment of things like optimal crown form & slenderness ratio plus a bonus action of it is as a mad maxian death throwing stencil :thumbup1:

 

Had a play with it yesterday in a pub garden after college, first time I'd seen it close up

That pebble tool is going to be really useful for engaging arbs, lets hope that dogma does not prevail!

 

The yanks will love it, nicely clipped aesthetic crown form removing all those nasty sticky outy ugly branches that couldn't possibly be optimised and have anything to do with crown dampening harmonics :biggrin:
