Saw this on Countryside Jobs online - might be good for someone. Looks like a fun and varied job, but the money is pretty bad.

Part-time Estate Worker

 

£16,000 pro rata

 

Ref No: GC002/RJ (22.5 hours per week by agreement)

 

Interviews to be held 10th March 2010

 

 

We are looking for someone to join our team to assist in the implementation and delivery of the Woodland Management Plan As well as having relevant arboricultural qualifications and experience you will have experience of working with groups and practical conservation tasks. This role is fulfilling, challenging and demanding and requires a good level of physical fitness. A clean driving licence is essential as driving of our minibus and off road vehicle will be required. Successful applicants will be required to undertake an Enhanced CRB check.

On the other hand, it might suit someone very well indeed.

 

A regular guaranteed basic income every week for 2-3 days work, with some holidays and sick pay etc.

 

Its hardly likely to be a killer either.

 

Subby climber / groundy / firewood / get your own business off the ground for rest of week.

 

Could be a good opportunity for someone?

 

Depends how you look at things.
