I didn't think it was even possible to block the chute nowadays, I did it once about 20 yrs ago on an old entec chippit. Never managed to block the chute on my trusty 2005 tunnissen 190.

It’s possible to bugger any machine with a lack of mechanical sympathy, I don’t think blocking a chipper can be a mark against the machine or make. It’s more the operator and the maintenance (yes I’ve blocked a few of different colours in my time and admit that almost every time it was caused by being greedy apart from once when it was caused by bad belts - lack of maintenance and therefore self inflicted)

Yup. Folk don't realise they have to listen to a machine. I have in the past and still do when putting leafy material in, knee the stop bar before the no stress kicks in then activate it again to only feed a little at a time so it can clear the chamber.
