Petrol sounds the best action so far! But I will try some others first that don't endanger my hair.

 

As for stabbing myself, already done that!

 

Buy a new one? No that involves spending money so that aint happening.

 

It was my great and trusted but rather simple at times groundy that did in the first place, we were pulling ivy off the side of the house with the landy. so now to think up a suitable punishment for him. If I catch him not wearing a helmet he gets hard things thrown at him from graet heights, no gloves and he gets to hold pine with sap all over it, you get the idea.

 

Can't think what to do about the knot, maybe get him to hold it as I light the petrol?

seriously... just boil it for a few minutes. hey presto knot undoes itself nearly like magic. first big job i was ever on tied a double figure 8 on the bosses brand new pulling rope to pull a tree over. big mistake.

 

was given the rope to take home told not to come back in till i got the knot out. dad was a sailor told me to boil it, which i did. back in the next morning with the rope in perfect condition.
