Hi guys I wanted to get your thoughts and opinions on this pulley cambium saver that I made. It isn't retrievable sadly. Because as you pull the tail of the rope the pulley twists the pulley wedges itself sideways on the Karabiner.

Do you guys think its a viable system to use as a cambium saver ?? 20231001_163236.thumb.jpg.796a5cbe2803272ac0e926683a26e90a.jpg20231001_163236.thumb.jpg.796a5cbe2803272ac0e926683a26e90a.jpg20231001_163546.thumb.jpg.a050b938f787324fb775d2eb845df388.jpg

Consists of:

13mm Rope

CT Pulley

9mm Prusik Cord

Stein Karabiner

I definitely get your point but its the fact its adjustable to suit the size of the limb in that aspect.

I get that, but there’s not much need really. If a sling is too long double wrap it. Only time I’d want to be able to adjust something precisely would be to cinch up on a spar where i wanted a retrievable anchor
