Fed up with mashing your hi-lifts to smithereens? Get a dead-blow hammer and drive them with this instead of maul or back of axe. Its surprising how much longer the wedges last. Thanks Mike Hill for telling me this:thumbup1: it works!!

Andy, you are missing the point entirely.

 

Stihl Hi-lift wedges are clearly designed to smash to smithereens really quickly so our Teutonic cousins can make more money!

 

Good idea. Something else to shove in the Tranny. I think my legal chip load is about 90KG these days with all the gear I carry now...
