Sorry 129rx as it is now.

yes that was the one i had in mind as it looks pretty much the same as my old husky one which i had for over ten years and did some heavy stuff with it.

Have you looked at the 4 stroke Honda UMK425's?

Husqvarna do one with the same engine too (Honda GX25)

I don't know how they compare to a similarly priced 2 stroke strimmer. Heavier but less obnoxious, probably? Been happy with mine for what must be a decade now.

I was given a honda 4 stroke, I use it, bit wouldn't buy another. The weight to power ratio is worse, its vibey and I dont really know how to work on it compared to two strokes.

sorry maybe its just me!

I  haven't got the patience using one as they rev  slow it means also they  seem to cut slower so you have to ark then across in front of you in kind of  slo mo versus  a 2 stroke to cut a sward of grass.

Though I liked the idea of less fumes and if you don't mind them being slower they work fine, the hondas top model does have anti vibe mounts also.

Re 4 strokes and speed, I have Stihl Kombi 4mix units, and when I got the first one, I too told the dealer it was slower when running line cutters. He said that above a certain speed, the line was effectively almost rigid, so it didn't matter. Perhaps I have got used to the 4mix now, it doesn't seem to be an issue any more to me.  They do seem to be very economical on fuel to me.

I was not aware of a Husqvarna in the UK with the Honda engine?
