ps. my Dad is 82, he used chemicals more than I did and the ones that weren't banned by time I came along. No cabs on the tractors then either. My uncle used a mist blower in the orchards with no cab and only wet weather gear as protection, he was constantly drenched in whatever he was using. Another uncle also used chemicals and everything was filtered through a Woodbine. He's no longer with us but was in his 80's and as far as I know his death wasn't related to chemical use. So two uncles and my Dad having used numerous chemicals with no real ppe to speak of have all got away with it. Their eldest sons all have cancer though and one of them hasn't made it through. Makes you wonder but nothing to prove anything.
