i've found that 441's have problems with the anti vibration busher at the front particularly when used with bigger bars.

361 top saw expensive £ for power but light nice antivibe and with run an 18" all day long.

If your looking at 441s might be worth spending a few quid more on a 460 better power to weight ratio and not much heavier, no nice anti vibe though but boom proof design.

If your still reading this i'm impressed and i could go on all night. Well that my two penny's worth hope it helps.

had my 441 for over two years now i think and its been a great saw. i run a 18" and a 25" bar on it. i even use it for milling small stuff and it aint given me any bother yet. if you are doing lots of small felling work it can get a bit heavy

im still reading haha, i was looking at the 46 too. just saw the 441 as the newer model, newer technology ect... but it makes you wonder why it needed changing an the 46 didnt. was also looking at makita, but unsure of them. and the 372 and 575 dont seem to be brilliant ..... so im going to stick with orange and white i think.

whatever saw i get it will be run on an 18" bar. i was looking at the 361 but i would rather spend a bit more and get the bigger saw.

used a 441 once for about 5 mins and thought it was a nice saw ...the newer saws 441 and 576 should use a lot less fuel than there older equivellents the ms 460's and 372xp's.

You want a saw thats built for the job ,i like my 372 for tree work ,taking down stems ect but my 357xp is an awsome felling saw in the woods and so would a ms361 be, but no good on ringing down 24"+ stems in tree surgery...

put an 18" bar on my 372 on sat for some beech thinning im doing ,after a tank of fuel stuck it on the back of the truck as its too heavy and not nimble enough to use all day on smaller diameter stuff.
