Stihl ms 441-opinions please.

hi all ,

since my ground saw has decided to die i tihnk i will be getting a bigger saw for the ground.

i was thinking the 441 with 18" bar.

wondering what people who have used the 441 think ?

i am open to suggestions on other saws of a simmilar size.

441 is a nice saw, but it might be a tad heavy for an allrounder.

 

I run mine with a 20" bar.

replacing a 341, i know its a bit of a jump on a saw. but want something bigger with a bit more power. 341 was a good saw but wont be getting another one i dont think.

Ive used Peters 441 and loved it, Its a cracking saw imo. Good power for the weight

i have 1, but tend to use the ms361,s more ,441 still on its 1,st chain had it 2yrs !!!! like pete say a bit big for alrounder ,may be better with the 361/2

361 is twice the saw the 341 is. Especially if you run the .325 chain.....

 

I am being slightly hypocritical here, as I go straight to the 441 for most stuff. I do however have a 254xp for special occasions, such as lots of small felling. I wouldnt care to lug the 441 round the woods all day.

i use my 441 for nearly everything run it on a 20 inch bar great saw. i would have a 20inch bar on it mate saves bending ur back one and 2 its got enough power of it
