Timber frame shed

Hi, we run a sawmill in southern ireland, we are looking at knocking a standalone leanto shed and building an A Frame douglas fir shed for planing timber and storing sawn timber. Basically we are looking for someone who may be interested in doing this project as we are not building savvy. The size of shed is roughly 60ft by 20ft. We don't have a specific design in mind per say but would like it to be rustic. I guess basically we're looking for a guy to come for a few weeks and we will provide lodgings and pay weekly or whatever suits payment wise. Please pm if interested

Surly you can get someone close to home to undertake that for you being a sawmill you must get buyers though the door who can recommend someone.

It's funny over the years we had so many guys that would have done that job with their eyes closed and a smile on their face, but nowadays those guys don't really exist. Its a case of very high end jobs and more specifically no workforce to fall in, hence most guys have given up and moved on to other things.

I might know a man that does this kind of work, he works mostly around the tullamore portlaoise area. If you're not too far from there I can pm you his details.

We are around 2.5hrs, but we would abviously put him up. Yes would definitely like to contact him

Theres  timber framing companies in N Wales that could probably do that kind job.

Ned Walls from Wexford has said he’ll do something for us but it’s been months of next week next week. Nice guy and great place mind. Check their website for a real old school mill. Astonishing.
