Best way of clearing a new build site of stumps

Judging by the bollocking I got when I did it with the single stump I don't think I would be allowed near the site again if I did that!  We put the rest of the stumps and roots into the garden waste container direct from the trailer, which I can reverse alongside so hand-balling is reduced to a minimum.

well.. depends.. temporary building  - won't need planning permission. utilities - well tbh there should be all that info included when they bid and bought the property - plans for hook ups, and they will have a general planning permission - the people who by these places are also beyond minted - the local council are pretty helpful with those types as long as they put something good about the environment in the planning permission for the final build. Tbh I don't think the clients have thought it through in its entirety.... but as I told them - I work with trees not property development..but I will guide them to the right people and best companies locally to help them as best I can

Big digger, can rip them out and re-bury them on a bit of site not being built on.

It's what I've done for forestry tracks anyway, 13t minimum for 2' sitka stumps.

Depending on your soil, some stumps can pretty much just be pushed straight down into the ground with the digger bucket, like you're pushing raisins into a bowl of thick porridge with the back of a spoon.

That's what I would do, and have done. Buried at least 5 metres distant from where the new foundations will be. However, if there's a lot of them, I'd burn them. Buried stumps will rot and then the ground will settle which is not much good if you plan to landscape it or lay hard vehicle access.
