Hi everyone I'm after a bit of help I've got a 560xp that's been working fine then some moron ( really it wasn't me ;) ) removed the carb and put it back now it just won't start , does it need re programming or something?? Any helped appreciated guys!

It won't need programming, why would it? Take it off, replace it correctly and it will work just as it used to. I guess you have stripped it down to some degree and cocked it up somehow and now it won't run.

The full story of what you have done will help.

If it isn't the carb that came from the machine, it WILL need programming!

I guess the question is why did you take it off, if it was running ok there would be no reason to remove it, anyway, pipes to purge bulb not connected the right way round, fuel hose kinked or maybe the original reason for removing the carb is still there.

Thanks for your replies , a employee removed it as he said it wouldn't start 😠 OK thanks I will get to the bottom of it 👍

First thing to do as it is very easy to do is remove the muffler and check the condition of the piston skirt through the open exhaust port, any scuffing or damage and its coming apart what ever, good luck.

Cheers guys , problem solved , the little pin on the choke / on off lever was in the wrong position! Should of looked at it before posting on here really , thought I could fix it from the comfort of my bed ! Lol thanks for all your help though , much appreciated again ! 👍
