Having said that, i just use whatever the makers tell me to use, as i just rely on the fact that they know better than me.. [and the oil makers]

The story about marine 2t oil is the viscosity is different from " lawn mower " 2t  because the out board motor runs cooler than say , a chain saw , as the out board motor is water cooled .
