I can understand that, I tried the 500i for weight when I bought the 400 and it is quite a bit bigger machine, thought I wouldn't pick it up unless needed.

 

I would guess the 400 isn't far off a ported 362 tbh.

Should get your 500i ported then 🙂 

pretty good... considering i only use it for cross cutting 

have to be careful with the tip as it's alot more fragile, but i've proceed about 11 ton of cord with it and still fine

What he said...Ive used this saw in the woods. Heck its quick and lovely and light. had 661,461,500i also but this was my go to that day.😊😊 Power to weight ratio was stunning.
