Trouble with Honda GX390

I have a Honda GX390 on my processor thats started messing me about when starting.

It starts Ok and runs for a short while and then stops as if though it's run out of fuel. Go through choke start turn off choke stall a few times and then it runs like clockwork. Once warm I can stop for lunch and come back and its perfect but does it most when not run for day or so. Cleaned fuel and air filter and plenty of fuel appears to getting to the carb.

Any thoughts?
