I have several electric saws, both battery and corded, but am looking for a cheap petrol saw, because they still seem to be the most powerful and versatile type. Anyone have any experience with these two?

Would rather get a cheap saw to learn on.

I haven’t had anything to do with the chainsaws. I have had the combo tool for a few years and runs ok. Also have the blower/vac both start ok and run but feel flimsy and plasticky. Might be ok for occasional use.

You buy one of those on a friday, and sure as eggs is eggs, i will see you in my place on a monday....along with all the ryobi, flymo, mcculloch and other 'shed' stuff people have made the mistake of buying. Take my word for it....if you want the word of someone thats been repairing stuff for over 22 years.

I see. I've done a bit of reading on the forums, and the Titan electric seemed to have decent word of mouth, especially considering the price. I hoped the petrol saws would be similar. Consider me warned.
