Anyone got a Stihl MS240 with a scored piston/barrell they want rid of?

Not sure if this is the right forum, but I am after a Stihl MS240 that's got a scored piston/Barrell- don't need the bar and chain with it- just the body. Couple of years ago I made the mistake of buying a new piston/barrell for my own MS240 thinking the reason it had failed was an under oiled mix, then realised when I got it apart the crank seals had failed, so I ended up scrapping it. Consequently I have a new piston/barrell set in my garage gathering dust waiting for a donor saw to bring back to life for use around the house. I normally have the odd one or two come in but haven't seen one for ages.

I will put neat fuel in one and run it for a bit and if it nips up I will send it to you 😀

So for the cost of a pair of crank seals £12 you scrapped the saw?

Well, it wasn't just the crank seals, but the crank as well as other associated parts, so it didn't stack up. I didn't add that, as I didn't think it was really relevant TBH.
