Years ago I bought a relatively cheap Chinese splitter . ( had to assemble it myself ) Modded it for road tow . Thought this will do me for a bit and it is still going stromg all these years later . DSCF0014.jpg.4aa8e36cad4d6b31034da40e30c9b40a.jpg

Mine is having fitted road towable suspension units with proper wheel bearings .

It would be easier yes, plus a proper trailer has the light board and numberplate fitted.

 

On my old rock machinery splitter I ended up removing the mudguards and the log cradle as they just get in the way splitting.

Okay cheers, picked one up a few weeks back for £37! Brand new lights and wiring 🤣
