Broken chain, common occurrence ?

In my experience oregon or husqvarna chains aren't the best to spin up. I find the rivets to be to long compared to stihl one's. I find the oregon/husq tie straps can shift whilst doing the first rivet and damage the strap. I always swap out for a new one in this case, and I spin halfway to try and stop it happening, then do the second and finish off the first. I tend to make in the region of 150 chains a week. Looking at the picture it's been slightly over spun, which can quite easily happen.
