after reading the posts on this thread i contacted nfu to get a quote, a guy came to see me and took details and said he would get back to me, 10 days later and he has just rung to say he is still looking into it. i thought it would be quicker than that.

Just try switching and see, there's no such thing as a preferable customer.

10 days is really poor service.

Nothing more than a emails at the moment but there maybe a new option with discounted rates for ISA members of the UK&I Chapter, as I know more so shall you!

i cant give examples of payouts or such but when getting a quote from lycetts they were extremely helpful and informative and although their quote was much the same as others they did seem to offer that bit more, and the customer service would be enough to swing it for me:thumbup1:

Well trust have the landy insurance, saving me 180 a year, and they will probably be getting my pl/el too, as they are 120/ year less on that, and offering much more for the money too. Thanks for all your help guys. FWIW arbinsure came a very close second.

Thats who im with now mate, ive been with them for 6 years and they have been great, it was after reading this thread i saw that some people were saying NFU were cheaper so i thought i would give em a try.
