I would imagine sawlogs Andy as he mentions taper in his other post and I would hope your milled wood would not taper as much as 10cm along the length.

Fair enough. Is there such a thing as treated Sawlogs?

A 10cm taper is very much dependant on how much I’ve been drinking. 😁

Hi guys, please see the photo, what I need; the Larch logs 6.2m - 6.3m in length,

Tip size: minimum 30cm diameter and the taper no more than 10cm ;
For example: the tip is 30cm in diameter therefore the but is no more than 40cm in diameter.

- the logs need to be straight;
- we need aproximatly 140 -160 cubic

What’s your plans for them?

Also, what do you mean by untreated?

Matt Thompson at Munro Harvesting would be a decent first call, Ewan MacDonald at James Jones  Timber would be another.
Finding Larch that of that specification and volume is difficult, but not impossible and certainly not cheap

Thank you very much
