Why don’t you ask them?

Or why don't I just Google harder?

Because asking on here creates a conversation from which I might learn things.

You O.K tonight Mr Dempsey?

Is the responsibility of GM150 ownership getting you down?

You could just call GM direct instead of asking on here...

  See what I mean?

Well cos I get an answer which gets me to work the next day (the 150)

If you wanted to create a debate about this item, great, but why not find out what they cost, then discuss its merits?

You sure you are feeling O.K tonight?

Problem with them is weight.

Put that on your 3.5 tonner and you can legally carry your lunch.

The Funeral people use them here to put gravestones in position, I talked to the guy at the cafe after having a look round one, he said that’s all they can do with it, otherwise it’s over the limit.

I was considering one for the Ifor tipper, mounted to the draw bar if skinny enough and easily removable.

I see a French company advertising in a FB group offering a high side 3.5t tipper converted for a mere €27'000.

Upon closer inspection it does appear to be a knuckle boom. Claims a ton lift.

All depending on what you want to lift, you haven't said.
You can't really mount them on the drawbar as it will give you too much nose weight, to make them properly legal they ideally need to be fitted to triaxle trailers.
They are never going to be "easily removeable"  they need a fair bit of bolting down and chassis strengthening and you will have a powerpack to consider.
Our new one on a 14ft flatbed Ifor without sides carries just over 2000kg and will lift just under 1000kg at 3.75 mtrs.
Ernest Doe built a little crane trailer with a maxilift last year for Anglia Towing, I believe they still have it, it was built for carrying bulk bags but TBH although very nicely built it looked a bit pointless, very small and very heavy.
