i think both stihl or husky are great saws, i dont have a bias for one saw, allthough a few months ago i picked up a husky 440e. it is light only wieghs 9.5 lbs. power seems to be pretty good for 41 cc. i put an 18" bar on it but i do recomend a 16". i have only used it about 2-3 hrs so far and like i said i am happy with it. i have a ms290 for other jobs that need a bit more power, i just wanted a smaller saw for hunting and camping. i dont know if this type of saw is what your looking for but you might want to check it out, or check out the 445.

hope this helps

I dont understand why they replaced the 361 the suposidly greatest 60cc saw they ever made (the only thing i liked about it was it sounded like a husky!)

346 is an awsome saws top of its class the ms260 used and broken a few but is an old dog that should of been replaced years befor the 361 but unfortunietly is not the the case.....

036 was better than the 361, 1000rpm slower maybe but oiled better and much better built than the 361. All the Stihl saws I bought in the late 90s are still going strong; all the later stuff seems a whole grade lower in overall quality.

Same with Husqvarna mind you i.e. 242XP and 254XP vs 346XP and 357XP... imo anyway...

The old ones were the best!
