What size log store or capacity do you need?  does it need to look nice like a customer log store or more functional & cheap?

If functional use a IBC with a side cut out that can be clipped back in at full & 1/2 height.  Then a lid.  Simple, cheap, throw logs in rather than stack.  Have as many as you need, stack em & move em.

Need a roof and the sides cladding in something, but coming along…. IMG_2216.thumb.jpg.a5ca366a11299b48e56c4215d06911c6.jpg
I wouldn’t put anything on the sides, any rain that hits will soon evaporate off and the more airflow the better. Nice overhang on the roof either side, front and back will help keep most of the weather off

All finished - apart from a dose of creocote or similar. Even better - my neighbour turned up with a Rock 22t splitter that he’s just bought, on the same day as I finished the roof :-)IMG_2246.jpg

Nice
what are the roof tiles
home made heavy felt or bought ?

Shingles; I bought 8 packs from someone surplus for £50. I think they retail at £20-odd per pack so happy days; I used 2 and a bit packs on this and will be making another (nicer, smaller) log store nearer to the house over the summer - so will have enough for that and probably still half of what I bought left.
