How do I wheedle the blue plastic off? Just a screwdriver and twist?

Those switches are only like £35. You can usually feel when they are faulty.

All four of them seem to click correctly.

Did you see the vid on the last page?

Instead of the stress control stopping the rollers, it reverses them for a second.

Has it always done this in your ownership? The kickback of the rollers is adjustable inside the white RDS box.

No, this is the first time, though I haven’t used it much.

Is this the white rds box?

No the RDS junction box is mounted above the battery on top of the infeed chute. 

Unscrew the four screws and remove the lid and if you look at the circuit board there's a small blue potentiometer in the centre of the board that's adjustable using a small screwdriver. Turn it clockwise to increase the kickback and anti clockwise yo decrease it , it's very sensitive. Also it's best done when the hyd oil is warm..

Hello Mick,

 Our 150P did this.

With our 150P the kick back now won't occur until the hydro oil is warm so no putting in big lumps for the first few minutes.

It's a good feature that pulls lumps back from the flywheel so the revs mount faster but the box is a bit tempermental and needs fine adjusting.

Sharing and discussing these quirks is all part of happy GM ownership.
