Landini Legend

Anyone got any experience of these tractors ? I am looking at a 1998 Legend 130. Are all the spares available ? Are they reasonably priced ?

The one I am looking at has got no reverse gear, so I will have to go inside it and fix it. This doesnt worry me as its a simple gearbox with no electronics. Just wondered what people think of them generally as a tractor. It looks like there is a lot to like, perkins engine, basic with all lever operation, almost no electronics, reasonably quiet and comfy cab, 40kmh.

Would be interested to hear peoples thoughts on this one.

Thanks

not seen one in my area for years, last one was on a farm just down the road was a 130 and the old boy how ploughed with it had a downswell 5 furrow on heavy clay.

Yes I read that they were popular in Ireland. Was thinking that if I had it split to fix the gearbox I would put a new clutch in it anyway.

I am trying to read up on them on the internet, but its hard to see just how much Massey stuff is under the Legend. Certainly the earlier ones were almost all Massey. I have seen Legends with the same gearknobs as the massey 3000 series so maybe
