Anybody dealt with BTD ltd?

Just wondering if anyone knows of or is affiliated with BTD ltd who say they are a referral company? They claim to have arborists on their lists all over the country so I thought if there were then maybe some members might have some info.

My dads mates a plumber and he has signed up to a thing like this, They give you leads and if you get the job, you give them 2.5%, he says its working quite well for him, He pays AFTER the job is done though and the company ring up the client and ask who did the job, so it seems pretty cosher, He's been asking me if i want the number as apparantly they cover all trades!!

What the hell is a referal company? No such thing. Why would anyone go to a company to get a referal?

 

Speak to them again and ask them what a referal comapny is, and when they tell you say you don't understand, could they please explain it in simpler terms, and keep going until eventually they won't understand what they actually do, and then ask them why you should give them any money and they won't be able to answer! Play the parasitic )%^&%)&_^+) at their own game!

don't really have any intention of entertaining them, i thought as they said there were many Arbs with them then there would be someone on here. From the vacant replies I will inform them that obviously they have no "proper" firms with them so take a flying!!

Hahaha they were just off the phone to me, apparently you pay £200 +vat for an admin charge then they make commission of 2 1/2 % on the work you do, only if its over £1000.

So i said where do you get the work to pass on "lots of different places they said", what out a hat,from mid air??? "we have lots of work in your area and its all big contracts SOME even 1/2 million pounds" Where is that like thats a lot of tree work?? "oh i cant tell you that but its here waiting for you" they were told to.......then i put the phone down.
