Art Cocoon redirect

I'm looking at getting an Art Cocoon, does anyone know if they can be used as a standard cambium saver or are they just for redirects.

 

Or shall I just get the Art rope Guide.

ive got the cocoon and apart from using it as a floating anchor on a footlock line it doesnt get much use. i did make it into a rope guide type anchor but it only just fits through the art ring and at times wouldnt retrieve. i have however heard good things about the cocoon from other climbers so i must be missing something. also found it pretty useless as a redirect but it is a nice looking piece of equipment

Got a couple of rope guides left at £99.90 + VAT if intrested think they might go up after that, depends on the Euro.

Its one of the items i forgot to put in the list but we do stock them, I'm at home now but i think there just short of £20.00 + VAT
