3 ton timber trailer

Just another point to consider..
Are you on flat ground TVI? If not make sure you spec something up with brakes, even if they’re just on one of the spools… Those alpines don’t weigh much.
Having to accelerate down a slope to keep straight and stop the trailer jack knifing is not a nice experience at all.
Riko recommended that I stick to 1.5-2 tonnes on my AGT 850.

Very flat where I am so no slope issues.

Our volunteer extroadinaire used to use a 3 ton Riko trailer behind one of the smaller AGT's (35hp I think) without any problems.

I'd be surprised if you could get more than 2 ton of hardwoods onto a 3 ton capacity trailer mind.

Still jealous of that setup @spuddog0507 cheaper than log bullet. But not as compact, K

Yes but i can put loads of other attchments on the 3 point linkage ae well, takes about 5 mins to drop trailer off and fit a 4.2 tonne winch, the tractor has many uses as apposed to just one job like the log bullet, i was working along side a log bullet ealier in the year and i was moving more timber out but it was over a mile extraction to stacking point, and tractor much faster once on the tarmac drive,
