What rope self tends in zigzag?

The Cousin Trestec Atrax absolutely hurtles through the Zig Zag. Better than the terrible Drenaline and anything else I’ve used by a country mile.
The yellow orange is beautifully visible too.
Bit slippy to start with as they coat the rope but once that wears off you’ll love it. Buxtons do a good price on it

The atrax is a dream through the zigzag. Noticeably thinner than the velocity I was using before, despite what the stats say.

I can see myself burning through a zig zag every year with it though

Yes Joe mines already slipping in under a year. I think the diameter is right on the lower rating for the ZZ isn’t it.

On paper it is, but in reality it's even thinner. My velocity is thicker than the Atrax but on paper it's 11.3.

I reckon Atrax is closer to 11mm lines like Blaze.

The next size up in the Cousin line up is Black Widow, which I'll be getting next.

Ah I tried the Black Widow for a couple of months . It was ok but I was glad to get the Atrax back. So much slicker and quicker on the zz

Another vote for atrax. Probably best rope I have ever used. Some has been said that mantel wear's out pretty quickly but I havent experienced that in now three years of active work. But yeah it's starts slip after a while but after that you only make your work faster.
