I see your problem. That doesn’t happen with mine. I know you bought yours second hand. Did u get the manual? I’m sure you can adjust for that. My angle is set for softwood and so follows the tooth face much better, cuts out a little of the gullet (not as much as the demo video on woodland mill channel) and clears the tooth back easily

Yeh, bought second hand and a older version. Perhaps the Cam grind has changed since then? I’ve kept the angle Ripper set theirs at. (Is it 10 degrees? I can’t remember off-hand)

The manual does not cover this, the profiling of the disc is how they deal with the next tooth.

I know the guy who supplied the Ripper Cam template designed it to fully follow the gullet of the Ripper blades. The a woodlands video will be using the compatible Blade for the Cam to get a full gullet grind.

I’ll try one one time with the metal putty and I think it will get it, if not then I’ll get the Diamond Disc and it won’t be an issue. It’s close to £150 delivered though.

I cant open the pictures and the vids are just playing as audio and not video. 

 

I've read you can run with a few missing teeth but not close together. Id not be fussed about 1 missing.
