Silky advice

Good man, be sure and let us know how you get on, type of file used, etc.
Will do. It's good to share knowledge like this. Don't hold your breath though, might be a while until I get round to it! I'm using a stand in at the moment; a Samurai, a cheaper version of a Silky. It's noticeable not as good, but it's not bad. It's about half the price but more than half as good as a Silky. Good for thought.

There are  2 grades of the samurai saw similar to zubat not sure the differences but ones more pricey.

 

ICHIBAN plus the cheaper  ICHIGEKI

 

I have the ichiban and thought it was near the the same as a zubat but maybe i forgot what the zubat was like when new.

 

ICHIBAN were £15 each on amazon a while back but price seems to gone up since covid brexit etc .
