Sycamore this morning?

Hi all, found this morning on Sycamore would like opinions if possible, I have my own theories but never seen it on Sycamore!

Seen it on a lot of deadwood stacks, mushed up and rank, have you tried googling it, K

Im rubbish at fungi ID never got into it googled for 2 mins and Im guessing

Any go to online resources for  tree fungi ID?

 

EDIT: looks wrong for Meripilus giganteus on goolge image search pic but on one website it looked like that.

Not the best photo for an id and they also look rather old. I think I can make out a stalk on one and gills on another?

 

I could offer a wild guess but curious to know what you think they are?

Okay, thanks guys, sorry to mither and its definitely not Meripilus, it was as near as I could get so no idea about gills/underside and hence the crap photo! 

 

I was thinking very old Fistulina - beefstake, but not 100% convinced, and seldom seen ot on Sycamore around here in the North west?

I just got ten fungi fixed in my head n kept looking out for them, common tree enemies types. You soon remember, trying reading a whole fungi book is impossible to start off with.  K

If you enlarge the photo the fruit body in the top right looks like it has a clear thin stem to me so it would rule out beefsteak? The edges of the caps also have a fair number of splits which I can't find on other photos of Fistulina.

Good point, it could be one of the Rust Gills Gymnophilus, I usually take a piece to have a closer look at home but started snowing and it was behind some barbed wire enclosure thing...

These are Gymnopilus.

I can see an annulus on the one in the back so we can safely call them Gymnopilus junonius.
