Is it true that if you reverse the polarity on the battery, then run a strip of weld on the machine it blows the tracker?

 

Its unlikely. Any components could be easily protected with a diode however that does sound like a good way to wreck any machine with an ECU

we've had trackers on all our vans and chippers now for 3 years.

very good investment if you ask me, 2 chippers nicked and recovered 30 mile down the road (i was still being towed when i caught the b@£$%^&s.

they have bought down my insurance AND my monthly fuel bill..........some of the boys werent quite so happy when i phone them on a saturday and ask why the van is 50mile away in ikea car park:sneaky2:
