I don't know Max, my trailer is 10ft. I'm sure it will be a close thing, I find the Jo beau just that bit too heavy to have hanging off the back. If you have the materials and the time then probably worth a bit of experimentation, spend a fortune ; you could be disappointed .

Thanks Bushy. I might have a go at it and see. What does everyone else think? Will 190KG on a platform at the rear of an 8ft trailer cause the tail to wag? Any thoughts would be appreciated.:001_smile:

Dont think Im going to have room otherwise thats what I was thinking as the best place for it. The draw bar is too short on the trailer.

Almost want one of those plant trailers with the long drawbar and bucket rest; wee chipper would prob fit on well. I would want a turntable so that the hopper could face the way I wanted it to too!

Will just make do with the ramps and winch for now!

How do most people transport thier mini chippers? Or more specifically get them in/out of their trailers?

I've been struggling to get mine in and out of my tipping trailer (very steep ramps). I have been using a small 12V winch on the chipper, but it wasn't really up to the job and is now broken!

Apart from that I love my CS100!!
