One of his requirements is tool storage - can't get much worse than a Cabstar for that!

mine has been tree surgeon prepared in boxes underneath i have

1 for combi can

1 for lowering kit

i for 3 saws and bits and bobs

cage ontop of fuel tank for climbing kit

had to move all tipping gear ect but imo worth it

most tree boys just get a standard pickup and go

and yes igottacabstar2

My Isuzus have been very good off road, infact the only time I got set with my Isuzu was when you had to tow me off that lawn over near Manningtree..:cussing::cussing:

My lorry is even better off road..

I've a 2.8 isuzu D/cab pick up, only time I've got stuck off road, the tractor that came to pull us up the rise just dug 4 holes in the soft clay.We ended up winching then both out - foot by painful foot - with a winch for tightening wire fences!. Time for a replacement - 118 K miles and 10 years service, can't complain!.

Sounds good. I got the new crewcab tipper Cabstar a couple of months ago, I can highly recommend it - tons of storage:crazy:

It must be hard work sometimes boys.

The last two jobs I've done needed a 4x4 otherwise It would have taken two days dragging.

The job I've price and got today, I have to drive 300 yards up a field to get to a diseased chestnut otherwise it would be draggged 100 yards down the garden and round the house.

The customer then wants me to chip three small trees and a huge pile of firewood into a space round the side of the house, 80 yard from the drive down a sloping garden. She has said I can drive over the lawn, she will accept any damage.

If the chestnut had to be taken out the long way it would take all day, I reckon I can have it down and away in an hour going into the field. :icon14:

You could always put a dump bed on this, not too pikey looking eh? Probably a bit more than you wanted to spend, though. Snackers!

Hi MasterBlaster

wold that truck be a Dodge 6.7L 16 cummings by any chance?

excuse my ignorance if incorrect

Great vehicle

Was in the states over christmas, and looked around for trucks to import in the UK for Arb work, i think it is viable only as second hand options, perhaps, still some homework to do
