Good era though wasn’t it. The last sports bike I rode was the BMW 1000 rr.
Epic performance but about the same size as my Ninja B1H. Bloody uncomfortable.
The ninja was wonderful on track though. Way to hard sprung on the rd.
I’m starting to hanker after an old zx9r , sports tourer by modern standards but I like em.

I don't ride any more ( 68 with bits of metal in me )  but there was a bloke with a John Renalds rep Rizzla 

Gixer . He had more dobbins than me  and crept away on the strait but I got him after about 3 laps .
