Would it be a complete no no to go for a single rear axle van for a 3.5tn arb tipper? Cheers!

We had single axle as first truck absolute nightmare didnt keep it long now twin axle would never have anything less. Lot less tyre wear and feels a whole lot more stable and tows like a dream.

My single rear wheel tows just fine.

Twin rear wheel carries weight better and will hide being heavy better with a lower legal payload as a trade-off. Mine has twin rear springs and a 3,500kg tow rating. Carries its legal load just fine. If you want to run heavy a twin wheel won't look heavy by ride height or tyre deformation.
