For a long time now ive had alot of problems gripping things, but just recently its become so bad i cant even hold my drum stiks:sneaky2:.Im kept awake most nights due to pins and needles in my fingers!!

Ive been to the specialist today and they've confirmed that its tatered and so they've recommended operating on it. What i want to know is:

Has anyone had this operation?

Was it successul?

How long was the recovery time?

The doctor said that mine is really bad and there's only a 50/50 chance it'll be any better:thumbdown:

An occasional groundie of mine had it done in november, and had a really quick recovery. Apart from the wierd sensation around the scars, he had a pain free recovery. He reckoned the physio told him to excercise them as soon as possible after the op to break up any scar tissue. I can think of one excercise that might help!

I had the op last christmas was off for 5 weeks

It worked fine I had my right one done first and my left one stopped hurting and did not need to be done

The trick is to keep exercising your hand and fingers

Do you have a wrist support to sleep in I found it helps

Yeah the time off work is whats doin me! The doctor said up to 3 months before i'll have full use of my hand again!!! Thats why im curious to see how true this is?

I didn't like the electric conduction test. I hate things like that.

I do sometimes use a wrist support nick when its really bad.

It sucks too because i use my right hand for all my favourite things:001_tongue:
