If it's brand new, surely Timberwolf can help?

I would have thought either try the chipper on another vehicle where you know the electrics are ok, or try another trailer on your transit. Going to seem daft to buy a trailer board and stick it on the back but might be cheapest/easiest way to get going, probably buy one in Screwfix this afternoon.

What year is your transit? Presumably you’ve towed/tow regular with it, could be a compatibility issue depending on age. LED’s take very low voltage to work, could be picking up off a bad earth/no earth, or the chipper could be wired up wrong. New doesn’t always mean its right.

It’s a 2014, my old chipper had normal bulbs with no problems....these led ones are all on, indicators breaks everything Constantly on

Your transit will probably be on “can” wiring, not 100% sure, other guys on here may be able to advise better. If so it may need programming as like i say LED’s take very little voltage to operate, it could also be that they require some load cells fitting to up the resistance in the circuits so the ecu on your transit can recognise it.
I’d get back on to timberwolf and ask some questions at their end regards compatibility then look at your transit next.

Hi, I had the same issue with tw230. I had to get an extra box added, to the chipper side, to match the transit output with the led lights. The timberwolf dealer did it, think it was about £80 fitted.
I had to put on an extra light board until the new part arrived.

The extra box fitted on the chassis, if you dealer is a bit away they could post it to you, fitting it is a 20min job.
