Fsi b20 is very good, but don't know if you'll find one in your price range.

It’s that price range where I can end up with a pile of tosh that’s why I know I need to be careful with what I buy ?

I got mine ex hire from kipper hire. I paid £3.3k and it was money well spent. Buying older gear is always a bit of a lottery, unless you know someone or someone on here is selling something.

Not sure if Trigger has ever done any stumps btw so bear that in mind.

No, none at all. That’s why when describing the stumps I have been grinding out why I liked the Rayco I’ve been using for the last few years. ?‍♂️

Yet also made it clear that whilst I’ve not used the Rock version it gets good reviews and linked to a thread on here discussing it. ?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️

Been running a rock stump grinder for a couple of years now.

I had the same dilemma, go second hand or buy a new rock.

It’s ground roughly 150 stumps in that time without any drama. Briggs Engine is as sweet as a nut and as has been said teeth aren’t bad. Broke the tungsten tip off one early on but rock sold me an individual tooth.

With a bit of fettling they are a good solid unit.
