Looking for a new vehicle!

Hi everyone ,im just starting up and getting into tree work wondering whats best vehicle to look at getting, im currently still a mechanic at ford so was thinking a ranger because i know them pretty well but im sure theres better? [emoji848]

Hi sorry, at the moment im just doing hedge reductions and the odd tree removal/reduction but when i go full time im wanting allot more tree/forestry work, think a transit is abit big , im thinking of getting a tipper trailor aswell so a pick up would be fine

Hmmm i was thinking a 350 tranny because im actually a ford commercial tech so repairs would be easier , but im not sure i need that size [emoji848] what sort of work do you use yours for ?

Everything except off-roading.
Logs,chip,trunks,slabs,big mills and I can get three of us in the front and all the saws and gear in the crew cab bit.

Yeah im stuck between a ranger or hilux tipper or tranny ideally might choose pick up because i might be off road on a few jobs near me and i coukd see my self been stuck in a tranny unless i try and find a 4x4 one
