Stihl kombi hedge cutter

Is this the right area for this post?

 

I've neglected proper care over my hedge cutter the grease cap came out which meant the shaft was free to slide out it had slipped out and is now bent.

 

Could have a go at banging it flat or get a replacement, recommendations for a decent price not rip off!

 

I like these kombies, it been a good unit. Using pole saw and extension, the strimmer and small blower attachments.

 

for hedge cutting think I really need a fixed for purpose machine. Possibly going to try echo and not a fourmix? Want faster running.

Kombi Drive shafts come up on eBay used fairly regularly, is it the motor shaft or cutter shaft? The motor shaft on my km 90 was a bit awkward but that was all had to hear the collar to get it off and then fit a new plastic end cap you can buy genuine stihl or none genuine from LS engineer I think

Pretty sure stihl hl series hedge cutters are two mix, and available in a faster reciprocating ‘trimmer’ (T rather than R) variant.
