Bumping this thread. Does anyone have relevant opinions as not used either before.  I am NOT considering tracked.

Considering 2 7.5 ton machines:

ASCENDANT A22-17TJ TRUCK MOUNTED PLATFORM ON IVECO 75E

Or

MULTITEL MX270 ON MITSUBISHI 7.5T COMPACT TRUCK

Ascendant

Pros - straight boom, simple, UK made, hydraulic controls, 17m outreach, more robust, big basket, its yellow.

Cons- 22m, the Iveco is a bigger truck

Multitel

Pros - 27m, twin boom so can go up and over, the mitsubishi more compact

Cons- italian, electric controls, 13.3m outreach

Not use either, but have used straight and twin boom would go for twin boom as up and over ability on reduction jobs.

Used a 30m straight boom on a truck on a tree last year because machine I wanted was not available was a pain trying to get boom to drop in between limbs to get reach.

Anyone use the nifty lift td 120 mewp what are your thoughts on it

I have a Nifty lift 120. It’s old, and has no ticket which doesn’t bother me as it’s just my neck on the line. In high winds at full stretch it floats about a bit and is a bit disconcerting but has already paid for itself doing some repointing.IMG_1617217605.833473.jpg

Use one as well I borrow off someone I know, but it has it's limit as it is no way as good as new ones with telly boom bit,

Have used tracked one bit bigger then others with same capacity.
